This lock worked wonderful during airline and hotel travel. Was able to secure electronic equipment in suitcase, while sightseeing. Hotel room safes are too small.

My husband and I recently took a very long overseas trip and purchased multiple travel locks for our trip. The problem with all of he the locks was that they had very small numbers and in low lighting on a plane or in a hotel the numbers were practically impossible to see and many of the mechanisms were touchy to use. We were determined to find travel locks with bigger numbers after this trip and before our next trip. So, now we are on another long overseas trip and before we left we found this lock and we are absolutely thrilled with it. We plan to order several more when we return home. I am really surprised at the bad reviews I read here so I had to write. These are by far the best travel locks out there and although hard to find, we will purchase online and get free store delivery. We are really glad we found them!

The Samsonite Travel Lock is a joke! When trying to set the combination the bottom spring loaded thing broke into two pieces. Very cheaply made. And this is supposed to help keep your valuables safe!

I purchased this lock for a recent trip. The lock didn't work. I exchanged it for another. The side of the lock that isn't supposed to come out came out the first time I tried to open it. So I returned it for a full refund. I reported the issue to Samsonite. As of yet they haven't responded.
